Was out at SPI beach access 5 & 6 yesterday. Saw a quite a few jeeps was anyone out there yesterday?

 

I was out there for a couple hours. Got out there at about 5:30 or so. It was too packed out there.

 

Yeah it was really packed! I made the mistake of entering beach access 5 first then drove north passed beach access 6. Took forever dodging kids running across the beach or playing 2 ft from my tires while driving by. I was getting frustrated at how people weren't watching there kids. I got there around 5 and left at 7. Just enough time for my daughter to play in the water. It was just a last minute trip.

 

A friend of ours that belongs to the Texas Jeep Crawlers Club got married @ the Island this past weekend. A lot of his crew included myself attend the wedding.

 

I think I saw a white JK with a circle logo that said something like that. White Circle with blue or some sort.

 

South Texas Jeeps, a jeep club I belong to here in the valley were there out on access 5. Tons of awesome/humble people that just love to hang out/cook/drink/and talk Jeep! A couple of guys from Texas Jeep Crawlers met up and hung out with us as well.

Just in case anyone didn't know they closed the beach accesses due to high tides and dangerous rip currents due to the disturbance in the gulf. Boca chica also is closed but you can still go around gates.

I was out there yesterday at Massey's gun range so I decided to check out boca chica beach and saw the road closed signs.
