Back in my 4 wheeler days (90's), we would go to a place off hwy 90 in Crosby. I think they called it Fat Man's Land / Mel's Place. May still be there, but pretty much for 4 wheelers only, really muddy and tight areas.

A BONE STOCK Jeep will AMAZE YOU!
Run what ya brung! Leave your swaybars connected, air down your tires, and DO NOT SHIFT UNDER WATER! Thats it. Then your driving style will dictate the route your Jeep takes.
My first outing at General Sam's taught me to get a winch, a CB, a good set of tire deflators, a can of starter fluid, a jack pad (brick) remove my bumper ends, and how to drain a Jeep.
My second run taught me about a oversized scissor jacks, effective auxillary lighting, keep Jeep fender fastners in stock, and bungy cords.
My urban assaults on the Houston streets taught me I needed A LITTLE lift.
My recent wreck tought me that I want my axles trussed and aftermarket control arms.
... Oh- and I am in!
