Thanks for the article. My uncle, mom's brother,(deceased) was the sports writer for the McAllen paper for many, many years. My uncle, dad's brother, currently lives in McAllen. Your right, small world!

Hah....I am just the opposite.. My wife is now feeling terrible w/fever.

Sooo, I am now going solo. Oh well,,I'm a big boy...I can take care of myself.....

My roommate had fever a couple of days ago, with her bronchitis. I didn't think she would be coming with me. But she said she will atleast do the road trip with me and then stay in the hotel when we are wheeling if she is feeling bad. Sorry your wife won't be able to join us, was looking forward to meeting her. Tell her to feel better...she is in my prayers.

 

It's a little after 6pm and I am all packed up and ready for the trip. My dang dog saw me packing her bowls and stuff & putting stuff in the jeep. Now she has been at the front door staring at it. I keep telling her we are not leaving until the morning but she's not buying it. She'll probably sleep on the rug in front of the door to ensure she doesn't get left!
