I'm just outside of Austin.
2 door Rubicon ordered almost 4 months ago.
Built as of 1/11/07 but hasn't shipped yet.

If you guys are looking for a good wheeling place, and don't mind a drive, the Y.O. ranch (near Kerrville) usually has a 3 day run every spring and fall.
They don't have the next one scheduled yet but when they do you'll see it here: http://www.yoranch.net/yoranch.html

Then there's Trees Ranch. It's right next to the YO ranch and it has monthly scheduled events. They don't update their web page very often but here's a link anyway: http://www.treesranch.homestead.com/

I've haven't been to Trees Ranch yet but I did go to the last event at the Y.O. ranch and had a ball. They had everything from a "noob" group to a super modified group and even gave out door prizes on the last night. (I won quick disconects!).

If anyone else knows of good places, I'm all ears. I'll want to give that new Rubicon a workout. : )

The TMTC is going to start building on an off road park out side of Ozone in April and they are hoping that it will be ready to open in July. It is right off of I-10.

I am pretty new to the Jeep thing. Owned a 97 for a few years up in Dallas. I have not heard of any place but the Spring Creek place, which looks pretty hard core.
