Default Lift Party October 25th

The lift is scheduled to be delivered on Fri the 23rd. I will be installing on Sun the 25th, so that hopefully I can be ready for the fall colors/newbie run on the 1st. If anyone is interested in helping, watching, giving advice or just hangin out, let me know. This is my first lift install and I will take all the help I can get! There will be the afore mentioned and pizza.

Thanks

Which lift did you get?

I found it, a 2.5 coil lift by Teraflex.

I will help out.

Why would he need a spring compressor if you can install 3" Teraflex spring in a 2 door without a spring compressor?

You shouldn't need a spring compressor. The axle should drop down enough to put the spring on. Make sure that you watch the abs and brake lines though.

Did you just get the lift and shocks or any other goodies?? ( TRAC BAR..ARMS..ECT) if im free I might come up there, there are some guys here that are pretty slick when it comes to doing lifts. We did my Teraflex 3"..lower front arms..and front trac bar in about 5.5 hours!

I got the 2.5 coil with shock adapters, so hopefully should be simple.

I have the whole day set aside (not sure how long it will take). I was thinking of starting around 10am or so.

I downloaded the instructions and they don't mention compressors. Do they just make things easier?

Anyway, stop by whenever you can.

Thanks

Talk to wiredog he knows everything about jeeps and this lift in particular. He headed up the whole lift party helping me put mine on and we needed spring compressors, I am definately not trying to make it harder by suggesting spring compressors?????????
