You know.. that's what I LOVE about Jeepers... Everyone helps everyone! Adding Free Food and Beer into the mix makes it that much better!

That is ok. We were all there at some time. Let us know any we can do it.

For a 2.5 inch, you do not need to buy control arms. I have heard that most people do not have an issue without buying them.

If you have a 2dr, which it looks like you do - I'd definitely recommend control arms with a 3" kit. It can be done without it, but it will definitely help.

And dont feel bad about asking for help - I did the same thing when we installed my lift!

For the 3", I would get the front lower and rear upper control arms. That is what I have on my 2dr. The front lowers will adjust the caster and the rear uppers adjust the pinion angle of the rear diff.

I plan on buying the rest of the arms when the money become available.

This is what most people do - lets you adjust your caster and pinion angle. Again, its not a bad idea, but you can always hold out and see how it does without. People do it all the time. When I lifted I went all the way, but that's just how I roll....(and kinda what you have to do on a 2dr)

You already know I will help you out.

They best way to understand your Jeep is to lift it yourself, or be there when all of your Jeep buddies are lending a hand.

With so many MWJT guys in the area driving JKs there is plenty of experience with JK lifts.

BTW all of the cool IL Jeepers are on the Midwest Forum

Im glad to hear I got the help. Thanks everyone for replying so fast. It will be a few weeks before I get the parts. Looks like im going to do the 3" Teraflex with the front lowers and rear uppers control arms for now unless I buy all of the arms and go with crager wheels instead of the KMC XD addicts.
