Default Midwest Disney, OK run August 2-3 2008

So far it is looking like August 2-3 will be the best days for this Disney make-up run. Post up if you can make it!

RUN INFO:

Meet at Hogan's 9:30am. We will leave Hogan's at 10am.

Bring your own food and drink if you want lunch. We will not leave the area for lunch.

TUNE TO CB CHANNEL 28. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A CB - GET ONE!

If you're late, we will be hitting the rock garden first then hitting the trails.

I'm voting yes at the moment.

I will call my Jeep "modified" stock level now....armor underneath....OME lift, but still running stocker tires....and a noob driving it to boot ....so as long as that is acceptable....will be working on vacation days off now.

Dude - quit worrying about it! I'm completely stock and I've run it several times. No worries!

It was more the noob driving the Jeep that was in question...I have no doubt the Jeep itself is capable enough:

Just shut your eyes and floor it! Just kidding! We accomodate all levels of off road experience and don't pressure you to go over your head or break your Jeep. Most of us use our JK's as daily drivers and stay more on the cautious but still fun side because we have to drive several hours home after these trips.

I still love this pic.... Look out for the "boulder"?

That's a good point; maybe we should have moved that one out of the way. It would truly be embarrassing if Jack got hung up again?

Any idea of a possible schedule?

Reason I ask--I don't get back into town until 10 pm Saturday but could possibly make it up if you all were going to wheel on Sunday.

Haven't really thought out that far yet. I think I will end up camping out Friday and maybe Saturday night and wheeling a little Sunday AM if anyone else wants. I have a 3 hour drive home so I will probably leave after lunch Sunday.
