7+ hour drive down for me, so would probably be heading out Sunday morning.

Thinking I may take Thursday off as well, and take a leisurely drive down rather than a rushed one.

Where do you recommend staying?
Tent at the campgrounds?
Notice they also have cabins for rent....worth it? (if they would even be available on this short notice).
Or one of the hotels better choice?

 

Not sure about the rental trailers. They are $50 a night I think, and I am not sure about how good or bad they are. I was planning on camping out in or near Jack's house if it is available or maybe the campgrounds at Hogans.

 

Looks like it may not matter unless I am leaving the spousal unit at home...she can't get off work on Thursday or Friday....which would make it a very short trip with her.

She "said" I could go without her...but in the way that said if you do...
