Wow...so I was just informed that I should not take my Jeep tonight to dinner but my friend will pick me up. Does he hate my Jeep? He said I would be more comfortable in his car...no...

SO glad he isn't my BF. I am filling in for his GF at a dinner because she is stuck at work. I thought it would be fun to roll up in the Jeep all dolled up. Well...I guess this is a reminder that if you don't love my Jeep, you can't love me.

OH...and any feedback on getting my shift panel thingie off so I can clean the O/D button???!!! Grrr...I don't want to break anything, it is clipped?

Pretty simple. Remove the little net pocket below the A/C gauges by grabbing the pocket from the top and pull it towards the shifter. Next open the center console cause part of the shift panel is tucked inside. Now grab the top lip of the panel
that is under the center console and pull up on it. Its held in with some clips. Now with that pulled up closer the the shifter is some more clips, But as long as you pull gently upwards you shouldnt have any problems. Oh!!! Now I just realized that once that is off you still have the shifter panel with the button to remove too.. Damn I will have to go look and tell you in a few minutes...

Heading out next Saturday. Getting a oil change, sway bars connected, and alignment.

Ok I know how to get the panel off under the AC controls. I think I can work it from there...I will try tomorrow. We are doing a Jeep run. I don't have lockers so I am copilot/vidiographer extraordinaire!!
