sounds like fun no problem on the stickers. a lot of my customers are having trouble producing water to their districts and treating the water with chemicals to make it safe to drink, water on the lakes are down....way down , not to mention that blue/green toxic crap is on almost every water way in the area now.

my friend has had me help him find a wrangler for him, he drove a Honda Prelude but while driving to his house in Stillwater, a nice deer came out and decided to stop him, so hes been selling what he can piece by piece and from riding with me, he wanted a Jeep.

problem was, his budget was $5k. So after looking all over and trying i-35 sports with all their jeeps that would be great as toys but not daily drivers...we just saw a few YJ's to choose from. And although 1 was in great shape with the exception of a rebuilt motor, I dont think it was settling with him well on daily driving a vehicle from the year he was born. Plus the leaf springs were/are unknown really to my generation. But we wouldnt rule them out cause the odds of finding a TJ for around 5k is just uncommon unless its a toy or been wrecked.

But then here comes a guy from tulsa that does alot of traveling and hasnt had luck selling his TJ. We went to look at it..i went with my friend so i can make sure nothing was out of the ordinary, and sure enough it didnt look bad. 5 speed, 4 cyl, 1997 wrangler lifted with a rough country lift. Interior is great condition, exterior just had the usual wear. Just didnt have air conditioning from the factory. He was fine with that cause his preludes AC went out a long time ago. So his dad went up with him to look at it today and they bought it for $5,200 which was a great price for this jeep i think. The only thing i was hesitant about was the springs, they looked pretty worn, so i dont know about that.

but here is a picture..he has cleaned it up since the picture though:

sorry for the long post (hes removed the sticker...and i will be helping him remove the chrome we can this weekend. )
