Oh... PainKiller... was your Jeep idling?

Perhaps it wasn't getting enough power... do you have a ProCal? That thing has a winching mode which temporarily raises your RPMs just for this reason.

Just a thought.

i had it in park , and a slight rev ( about 1500 rpm )

 

probably at least by sunday if thats cool with you, might need to use it because we are suppose to be getting more snow next week

 

I'd read about it, but won't be able to make that trip. Need to keep my limited number of vacation days available for the Moab/Colorado trip later this year and for taking the family to Orlando . Anyone ever get the feeling that 24 hours in a day and 7 days in a week are not enough anymore??? I for one could use around 30 - 35 hours a day (mostly to catch up on some sleep) and a 10-day week with 4 Sundays

 

Next time, put it in neutral, with the park brake set, and keep your foot on the gas pedal to raise rpms around 2K
