Similar to my plan.

I plan on keeping my D30, and just building it up. I've already re-geared, and installed gussets. I have sleeves in my garage waiting on me to get the balls to weld them on.

Long, long, term I would like to get those RCV axles for my D30.

She rammed into me as I was going straing and she was attempting a left turn and she didn't obey the green yield signal for a left turn.

I am completely fine, really not even that sore, not sure of her status, she took an ambulance ride to the hospital and as of 5 last night (happened at 8 am) her insurance co couldn't get in contact with her, so not sure how she's doing.

So, I'm without the Jeep for now since the rear is off, no sure what's there, I had to work all day yesterday and then it's now at a body shop by my office waiting on eval by appraiser.

Hopefully, it will be easily fixed by some new suspension parts, some body work and some new rear tires.

I didn't have doors or top on, and honestly I think this saved me from a head injury. Had I had my doors on and window up, I likely would have hit my head on the drivers door window.
good to hear you are ok, and hopefully she is fine also.

I mentioned there would be Jeeps. She said she wasn't keen on the idea of off-roading (she said she'd get board), but when she read on the Internet that Moab had spas.... well, lets just say she went to the library yesterday while I was at work at checked out a book on traveling in Utah
hmmmmmmm maybe my wife could go to the spas with your wife and our jeeps could go to the Moab "spa" and stretch their legs a little

That's some thinking. We, being the clever guys we are, could also save money by only renting one car

Surely our wifes would appreciate our fresh sense of financial thriftiness

Nicely done. Is that from a kit or did you fab it all yourself? How did you cover the endcaps?
