I actually just ordered a JKS adjustable rear trackbar so I can do away with my RC drop bracket.

That's a mig welder. My stick skills aren't up to par with a mig.

Quadratec's website seemed to indicate that it would come freight... perhaps they mean a freight truck WITH a UPS truck inside it

probably use a fed-ex tracking number to track the ups truck

Well instead of soldering, I'm only really good at suturing. I was thinking of trying to use stitches to install my gussets and sleeves that arrived today, but thinking welding might be a little more permanent.
