Alright, thanks for your input, i am leaning back towards the TF now. I am driving to Moore tomorrow to talk to them about ordering it and what not.

As for wheel backspacing being a problem, have you considered spacers? Not that I'm recommending a 4" lift--if you want to stay under a grand, you'd be better to stay away from that much height. .
Yeah, thats what I had been thinking about with the 4" lift, that my driveshafts and other parts would go out/break. And the website said i basically had too much backspacing..it was saying you need 2.5-3.5" BS or something like that, and i have 4".

I will PM you when I know what lift i am getting, i am back to leaning toward TF 2.5" now. I may just have to take you up on that offer. I have a good amount of tools, just no where near the Jeep knowledge yet!

I'd hate to think of the shipping bill on that

Have you called Northridge? They are running a big sale on Tera products, might be worth looking into

I cant find anyone local that does Rock Krawler so I thought I would see if anyone here has the skills and willingness to help me out. I have no fab skills and wouldnt trust my welding. If anyone is interested in helping or can hook me up with someone who can please get in contact with me. Im in Choctaw just east of OKC. 6204259 just shoot me a txt or PM me on here. Thanks
I just installed the same lift in mine a couple months ago. I don't mind helping out but Ive got a busy schedule and I'm a little hesitant to weld on someone elses rig. But if you want me to I can.

I know custom offroad products will install it..... For $1250

It is a pretty time consuming lift to install it took me about a week an a half. Most of it was figuring out what I was doing, learning to weld, getting the right tools etc.

alright, now i am thinking about just doing a BB with shocks...lift it, but keep the budget part, that way i can pay off the jeep more, keep a bit more money in the bank for a few other things, and save up for proper suspension. cause my ultimate goal is to have coilovers...so i just dont know how long i would be happy with a 2.5" coil lift. I just know my future goal is to have coilovers and 35's..and have the Jeep built up underneath...

So would the TeraFlex 2.5" BB be a good idea as more of a 2 year (at most?)temporary fix...if i paired it with shocks? if so....what shocks should i pair it with? Because this spring, I plan on getting Poison Spyder BFH front and rear bumpers, a winch, and other things.

If this is an interim solution, keep your eyes on the For Sale thread and pick up one when someone upgrades from the BB to a full lift - you'll be able to buy them for pretty cheap over retail and so you're not out too much money. Or if you go with a new one, just do the kit with shock extenders for now. If you go to coilovers later, the new shocks really would have no meaning - you won't be reusing them anyway. Just a thought.

I think that this summer you will be unhappy with your BB because of the sag from all of the new accessories. At least that's what happened to me.
