I was reading that looking at the rear driveshaft wondering where in the world is the double cardan, and when I got to the bottom of the thread, noticed Eddie pointed it out as well - the rear DS is installed incorrectly. And the front looks like it has a flange adapter rather than using a yoke as recommended. Either case - this just emphasizes how important pinion angles are on these things . Did you read the thread about the Pilgrimage to the promised land - where transfer cases exploded as well?

 

You know, with all the talk of exploding transfer cases, I am starting to think of trading in for a 2 wheel drive

AHHHH Come on!!!! You know you wanna go. All that stuff done to your ride and now you dont want to use it.

 

You would need a set of 24's and some candy paint to go with it too.

 

Didn't say nothing about not wanting to use it - but I can't, in good conscience, be out wheeling when I have a big gaping hole in my garage ceiling. I'm trying to see if I can knock it out during the week, and if I can, I probably will. So, it's not totally out, but, it's not totally yes either .

 

Ill drive down there and give you a hand fixing it if you can go??
