No, seriously, they said they try and have it done for me today, but they might not make that time. I told them not to worry about it, that I'd rather them take their time and do it right. So, it's probably going to be ready for me tomorrow.

However... the gas tank had to be ordered, so I may have to take it back in later for them to replace that.

David called me last night (it was like 6:30 his time) and told me that they finished up my axle, and just needed my billing info. Knowing how long it usually takes to get things from (and know to) Washington, I should expect my axle in on Monday

Hey, as long as they get it to you before December 12th, 2012 - you're safe

Sweet! That's good to know.

I hear that quite a bit, had that happen a couple times on my S-10, they said when it's real cold and you run it the expansion and contraction wears that gasket pretty bad. Not sure why that one is first.
Again, this is all dealership hearsay, I must have missed that in the engine performance class.

You know, that thought crossed my mind....

This all started after that CRAZY blizzard. I wonder if the -28 degree weather one week followed by the 70 degree weather, followed again by 30 degree weather had a small part in causing this gasket (mind you, a gasket that's 3.5 years old with 45K miles on it) to develop a pin-hole sized leak.

haha exactly. I know hes just looking out for memand for my financial decisions, cause i did lose quite alot of my mustang and civic, but I cant sit still and have what i drive look the same for more than a few months. He understands that, but he always kept his vehicles stock and doesnt understand why you would change factory stuff (he thinks it comes best from the factory) while i look at it completely opposite. So we will sit down and have a talk for a while about it, but whatever i spend on the lift and the few other items i am about to buy, i am going to pay double that amount at the same time for the jeep payment, so the jeep will ALMOST be paid off fully! He should be happy about that!

Why do I have this distinct feeling that left hanging in the air is the finish to that sentence: "... and not be done right."?
