i thought about that...but how would they test it to see if it still rattles if theres no jeep with it? haha

haha no, i didnt mess with that one cause those bolts look like a T30 bolt, and i only have the T50 to take off the door bolts. I need a whole set, and i think i have T40 and smaller, but i misplaced it before i got the Jeep. I just loosened and tightened all of the plastic pieces on the door thinking thats what was moving enough to cause a noise.

well...the clip on the drivers side for the soft top latch, (the one where you can unclip to just have the front seats exposed and leave the back covered) that latch has been broke from the start...cause everytime i try and just put the top back for the front seats, that latch isnt connected and wont connect, so the rear part of the top that secures by the tailgate comes un-done..and then it flaps in the wind...and i look stupid...and have to pull over and fix my top. yep. So i need that fixed as well...

Ah, the naivete of youth. Whether they have your Jeep or not, when you return to pick it up they will tell you that they didn't fix anything because they couldn't duplicate the problem. If you want them to observe the problem, you will probably end up taking one of them for a ride.

BTW: A mechanic's stethoscope and a friend can be very useful for tracking down these kinds of squeaks. The mechanic's stethoscope is available for about $10 at Amazon (cheap ones, but should work fine).

Question is, do I take it to Jeep this coming week and have them fix it, or wait a while?
I had the same rattle. The dealership fix? White lithium grease on all latches and a light coating on the catches, viola no more rattle.

Picking up some 3/4 in spacers from Ok Jeepthing/Military Jeeper member Shawn Teel today. Can't wait to get rid of the sag from putting on the bumper.

I have a normal stethoscope, but i think it would make the person using it go deaf if they used it..but it would work good!

I would
Say some light wheeling would be fine for a bit. Just be careful on the rocks. Offroad EVOs Gussetts are 89 I think
