Now that sounds like a plan....Finding a welder would be my problem...Thanks...

What about the driveshaft though? do those hold up well with 35"'s, or is it best to swap those out? I just know it puts some stress on the drivetrain and was just curious what is best to swap out

Driveshafts aren't affected so much by the size of the tires as it is the lift that hurts them - in specific, the pinion angles. This is more so on 2-door models with the shorter wheelbase than on the 4-door models. If you have a 3" or taller lift (or for that matter, a lift that nets you 3" or more), then driveshafts should definitely be on your list for the upcoming mods.

I'm going to try and install my tire carrier tomorrow night, if anyone wants to hang out and B.S. I wouldn't turn away the company

Even the D44 (Rubicon) front axle has the exact same sized Cs as the D30 (X,Sport, Sahara) front axle. So, Rubicon or not, all JKs with 35s or larger should look at gussets.

I'll help you install them, I know a good welder

I do, also, completely agree on the cheap insurance statement. For $120 (ish) I purchased the Teraflex sleeves and gussets... thats a whole heck of a lot cheaper than replacing a front axle housing.
