I was setting up to take this picture at a recent Boy Scout Campout ...



The fellow that owns the blue FJ had been commenting proudly to me that his FJ had skidplates all over the place. Of course, with the exception of the Jeep on the right that is used as a cattle ranch work vehicle, and my own Jeep, none of these vehicles are used off-road. Anyway, as the FJ was being driven onto the rock by the wife it began to scrape on the bottom. Both him and her got worried looks on their faces (I was guiding), and I commented, "Don't worry, that's just your skid plates skidding!"

On that very same trip to Disney, I recall a certain moderator having a run-in with a very tiny rock--he got high-centered. Maybe that's why a few weeks later he asked us all to help him install a 4" lift to go with his brand, spanking new 35" tires ...
