OK bs
That's battle damage! I actually don't know where that happened.
But, pictures from early on at Disney before we hit any rough stuff show I had it, so it wasn't during that trip. It was actually several weeks later when another Scout leader pointed it out to me that I realized I even had that dimple. But, full disclosure, we did do the tailpipe mod while descending one shelf below the dam.

Also, expect to make good use of your skids if you go without a lift.

Nothing biggie, thats what they are for after all... but just FYI

haha, what skids? my jeep is naked from protection right now. I plan on re-doing the exhaust this winter, Evap skid january, and differential covers this winter, but rock sliders are out of my budget right now..maybe this coming summer. i guess i will just have to be a little careful.

I was just saying that to say, that the first time a lot of us get out of the trails and hear the rock on metal sound it's a little gut wrenching. I was just mentioning it to help prepare you. It's a normal thing, and thats what the skids are for.
You should be perfectly fine stock.
Hopefully we can get a group together. These things are a lot more fun with larger groups

I keep asking around, but all I get is "but your not a Jedi yet"

Your Jeep should have more than enough protection from the factory. The JK actually has a series of skid plates covering a large portion of it's underside.
