I finally got a chance to test drive the Jeep after last night's work. I drove all of about 6 miles, and so far so good. These things aways worry me, but that worry will only pass as I drive it more miles... then my mind will be at ease.

It's hard to say for certain, especially since it's a cold night.... but... the Aussie seems better behaved. Used to, once the front diff got warmed up from driving (and especially driving on hot days), taking tight turns caused it to want to lock up. This was especially noticeable in my parking garage at work. I drive 20+ miles to work, throw a hot day in there, and then at the end of the drive take 6 or 7 tight u-turns... and click-clunk, click-clunk my way to a parking spot

Tonight I immediately took a turn around the culdesac... nothing. But it hadn't warmed up yet either. Drove 6 miles, and then repeated... I got it to lock up, but I had to REALLY provoke it.... again, time will tell if it is any better. But, the fact that it's now within spec should, alone, make a world of a difference.

I do know..LOL Its actually taller than the Rubicon. I got it from a place I used to work at. It had been sitting there for months still boxed up, So I snagged it up.. Time for the street tires to go away.

It's automagical... No air, electric, or cable necessary
