As soon as I can order a new u-joint... so it will probably be a couple of weeks before its in and i can get the axle shaft to a shop...

I plan on installing the shaft myself, but the hell if I'm screwing with u-joints anymore

Don't know yet. Hope to pick it up tomorrow. I believe they were just trimming the current liners.

I took mine in and they trimmed the fenders. Taking it back in for a new gas tank. Their silly filler tube fix didn't work, so back in for the tsb.....

Just PM me your address and I will mail them to you.
You sure Jason? My disconnects still work - I just need to straighten up that one passenger side link. If you're sure you don't want it, hang on to it and I'll just pick it up from you when I come up that way

This is the 2nd time I've had a bolt that was shipped with a Tera product that has stripped/snapped when torquing it down to specs. Am I doing something wrong here?
Just went and checked mine, couldn't remember what I did with them. I can only get them to about 70 ft lbs then they are going to round off at 75-80. Is that what you mean by stripped the bolt? Did the end round off or did the bolt actually strip ruining the whole bolt?

Either way, I can't get mind to 80 without incurring some damage.

Mine never got to 80 ft lbs... the threads started buggering up right by the shoulder - like it was going to strip the threads . Replaced it with a Metric 19mm Grade 8 equivalent and tightened it snug for now.
