Well, I for one, love Jeeping with a group - 4 to 5 in a group to me would be the right number - any more and you'll be spending a LOT of time waiting. There are times when I'd love to be alone on a trail, but it's just more fun in numbers - plus, the peace of mind of knowing that there's someone to spot you when you hit a tricky spot - or if you need to be winched/strapped, I'd rather have someone there than not.

Those are almost 100% identical to mine.

I dug out the papers on mine, but I couldn't find the same part # I have on Quadratec or Amazon anymore... I wonder if the item Manoj linked is a newer model of the same time.

Either way, I did double check. The papers have Mopar all plastered over them, but the "lost your key/lug" reorder form is clearly addressed to McGard

So far, no regrets - I have the McGard regular lug nuts - went with them when I got the 16x9 Steel Wheels and 35s, and no complains.

Like Mark posted earlier, I do believe Mopar uses McGard lug nuts and locking lug nuts - I used to have locking lug nuts with the stock Sahara wheels that I gave the guy that bought the wheels and tires; and they looked almost identical to the McGards I got Charity. As far as the newer model, I have no idea

I concur... that is a good number. I just look at that picture and see way too much stress....

Crazy idea.... with gas prices the way they are, if we can get 5 to 10 JKs in a group, we could all go in on a 18-wheeler/car hauler... just haul the Jeeps out there for cheaper than the gas would cost

Default interceptor

There were a few with 37's and d30's on the trail. You should get some 37s next and carry some extra axles like i do.
I am going to sell my 35s soon

That's why I didn't become a teacher. You're stronger than I.

I've done a bigger group of around 10+, and it just gets boring when at every obstacle you have to wait 20 - 30 mins or more for the people in front of you to clear - or when you have trouble going up and all you can think of are the people you're holding up behind you - just makes it hard to enjoy, and you're always in a rush to keep up with everyone.

You just did - you didn't tell me why though

And to think - we know of a guy that can hook us up with an 18-wheeler . But in all seriousness, I don't think I'd EVER tow/haul my JK anywhere - if I can't drive it there, I'm out . To me, the fun is not just driving it on the trails - it's the whole adventure of getting there, enjoying while you're there and enjoying the trip back.

A teacher :rotfl mao2:

Nope... wrong on that one. I just wish the Dept. of Ed. had an education themselves, idiots, world class f-in morons. Incapable of intelligent thought, and empowered by the federal government. Who, oh, who in their right mind created a system without a check or a balance in place. They have somehow become the DE-FACTO standard on all things student loan related. Do what they so, or... well, just don't what they say, there is no alternative. F-in retard backwards butt shits
