I need to get some input on this. I've been talking about those smittybilt seat covers. Well my debate is on about getting black and red covers on my white jeep. Idea is I have red shocks plus when I get my rims have a red ring on them. Thoughts views opinions welcome. Or just go all black seat covers and all black wheels.
Interesting.. very interesting.. Curious on the back lid for the storage.. its still carpet right.. can really take that off?? Or can you??
X2. I've been running with no carpets for over a year now and it's fine. I will eventually get it bedlined though - it's always good to have some extra protection for the paint.
Good thing about a white Jeep is that almost any interior will look good color-wise. And if you already have something to tie it into, like the rings on the wheel, I think it'll look good
. Personally, I favor either gray or black - single color - but that's just me.
In my case, it isn't... I have the full carpet off all the way from the front to the back. Gives you access to the drain plug in the back storage. The back lid still works fine because it just slides under the two loops like normal.
Pulling carpet out easy.. Just trying to get an idea.. Like my TJ for instance I would pull it out and leave it out in the spring and summer, but then I would put it back in during the winter... JK easy in and easy out?? Then again once its out it may not go back in..
I leave mine out year round, it can be a small pain getting it under the edges like factory but it goes back in.
Mine hasn't gone back in - I took it out and tossed it into a commercial dumpster. Ran it two winters with no carpet and it really didn't bother me and I don't miss not having it. Sure it looked nicer than the bare floor, but other than that, it's fine. So, can't answer your question on the "easy in" - but it was relatively easy to take out.
