Default OK JKer's Caravan to JK-Jam 2009?

Thought I'd start this thread to see which OK JKer's would like to caravan to Moab JK-Jam 2009 together (April 8th)? I might be interested in going a few days early, leaving a few days late, or some combo around that.

I'll be leaving the Saturday before that (I think the 4th?) and leaving Moab on the 9th or maybe 10th. Its quicker for me to go up via Denver, but because all the people I'm sharing a condo with live south - I might head down to OKC and go via I-40. Haven't really figured that out yet.

I hope to see you there BigA and High Lift Jack. Have you decided on your runs yet?

Please fill me in, Jack. What do I need to be doing to "register?"

Check the moab forum - you need to register with red rock 4wheelers and they'll send you their newspaper which has the event registration form. I haven't seen mine show up yet.

So its getting closer - I'm planning on leaving Friday night and stopping over in Albuquerque. Anyone want to join in on the caravan? I'm meeting up with 1 from AL and 1 from TX and we'll go into Moab from Alb. on sat morning.

I am still trying to get the planets aligned in time, But it's not looking good...

If by some fluke chance my money and my work cooperate, I will go. But right now, it's the work thing that is grounding me. I am fortunate to have a job right now, ANd don't want to jeopardize it.

I think I'm going to take the scenic route through the panhandle. It's a beautiful drive, and I'm not in any hurry to get to Moab--planning to stop and take a few pic's here and there. Have decided to not sign up for any of the runs in Moab outside of the JK Jam on Wednesday. I'll probably just strike off for myself to some of the other areas and national parks. Other than Wednesday and meeting with my fellow JKers, my main interest will be the photography opportunities.
