Zax wasn't bad for breakfast, but then I only tried one thing, their Zax Benedict. It's like Eggs Benedict except with salmon instead of ham.

How are the $$$ ?
That's the one. It's expensive, but the food is good, and you're paying for the view, so if you go there, go at a time when you'll be able to see the sunset, so you're getting what you're paying for. When we were there, there was a group that had the best table in the house to view the sunset (top floor, SW corner table), and they left about 15 minutes before sunset.

Haha, having a 10-year old girl, we obviously recognized our hostess "Miley". It was pretty funny, after dinner we walked up to her and simply asked "...would you mind if we snapped a photo of you with our 10-year old", she said "yeah, no problem", and we just asked "...you know why, don't you?", and she said "oh yeah, I know...". We never had to mention she WAS just like Miley. She knew.

Here's our shot:

I love this thread. Why? Because I can remember trips to Moab when I was a teenager where the ONLY fast food in town was Milt's. We stopped in every morning for breakfast and to let John Sensenbrenner know where we were going for the day. The 3-4 of us that were there taking up stools would put the locals out of the normal breakfast rotation. Then about half the week would be dinner at Milt's to let John know how the day went. At least once or twice a trip would be dinner at the Golden Steak.

That's right, no McD's etc.... no Zak's, no Brewery... I remember one of those years later on stepping out of Eddie McStiffs to see the comet (can't remember the name) and an eclipse happening at the same time, but that was years later. To put it in perspective the first year I was out there Haley's comet was supposedly visible. (I don't remember seeing it.)

Enjoy the food that's there, and don't be afraid of trying it all! (Also remember during EJS there may be a bit of a rush....)
