Default NorCal Convoy for EJS 2013

I wanted to start this thread as we are only a few months out from EJS. We went last year and can't wait to go back this year. We will be rolling out of Northern California on Friday the 22nd. We will be there the entire week. If you want to convoy with us post up. If you haven't been and have questions about cost, where to stay, etc.. let me know and I'll help if I can.

Huck

Currently rolling out that Friday.

Last year we went Vegas to St. George and across the top. This year I am thinking about heading into flagstaff then up through Indian country. Its about an extra 50 miles but I think a lot less grade and wind. Also runs by the grand canyon. Have you looked at that? We will likely be heading out Friday as well.

It is much quicker for us across I-80 from here in NorCal. Although if bad weather is predicted we may go the route you took last year.

I've never tried going that direction but sure sounds like it'd be worth trying!

I'm heading out on 3/21 (Thursday afternoon). Hope to take I-80 but if storms are predicted I will head down to I-15. I am towing my fold-up trailer which weighs around 2000 lbs and have the 3.8, so you will probably pass me somewhere alnong the way!. My son and I are hoping to camp at one of the BLM campgrounds not too far from MOAB.
