i did the ESP disable and I have no issues spinning all 4 tires in 4 lo full lock as fast as I want to (not that I would want to, but I've tried it). Just because your light is always on, does not mean that the system is disabled. Every time you start the jeep, you chould get an addition chime and the words ESP OFF in the display for a few seconds. Your light being on could be indicitave that there's a problem with the system.
There are more programs other than the ESP such as the BAS?. After I installed my new tie rod, until I got the jeep aligned properly, this light BAS came on even though my ESP program has been disabled. I think their may still be a third level/program that I can't remember now but I'm fine with just the ESP being disabled so i can do my drifting when i want to. Like I've said before, I will re-enable the esp when i get my lift done as it is very sensitive and will alert if something is incorrect in the geometry.
