Will a hardtop for an 08 fit a 2011? Considering trading in my 08 on a 11 and the Jeep I like has a soft top. Just wondering if all the mounts are in hte same locations. I know the hardtops are different but wasn't sure if the 6 bolts in the rear and 2 up top are the same and if the clamps under the visors are the same? Thx

 

I installed a 2011 hardtop on my 2008. I needed to drill two new rear "alignment pin" holes as the front alignment pins lined up but the rears are several inches off. Also you won't have to worry about it but the 2011 has one more mounting clamp on the windshield top frame, the stock hoop just needs to be remounted using the left hole and drilling a "new" left hole then rivet the hoop back on. Still not sure about the wiper harness and plug as I've hooked it up but haven't tried the wiper motor now that I think of it...
