Default '08 Rubi BBlift

Well Im new to the Jk world and I have some questions...I just bought an 08 JK rubi 2D and stuffed a set of 285x75r17 buckshot MXT s on it. Now I want to put a bb lift on it. I live like 20 miles from Rough Country's home store so I called them to get some tech help and their rep says a rubi only gets .5" lift from a 2.5"bb. Was a little confused so I called back and the next rep says 1.5". Man this crap is way different than my CJ. Any help I'd appreciate it.

Yeah, I think those rep's you talked too need a lesson in physics

If you put a 2.5" spacer between the chassis and spring, you will get 2.5" of lift. Regardless of what model you have.

Its possible they were talking about a 2.5" coil lift. But even then, just about every JK I have seen sits at exactly the same level stock. My 2dr came with 29" tires, once I put 32's on it (stock springs) it sat at the same level as a Rubi.

But with a spacer, unless you cut the spacers in half or something, you are going to get 2.5" of lift.
