Default 09 Drag Link question

I just recently had my drag link replaced due to wear at the joints (ends or whatever you call them). I just fininshed a run this weekend and noticed that the drag link end where it attaches to the steering knuckle is "loose". By that, I mean that althought the nut is tightened as tight as I can get it, the nut will still spin on the end piece. I did use a allen wrench to hold it in place when I tightened the nut so it is tight. The whole thing can spin. The taper fit piece seems to be tight, though if I rock the steering wheel back and forth, there does appear to be some play. Any thoughts on this? Is there an after market mfg of drag links?

that doesn't sound right. I wonder if your knuckle hole is worn out. I'd take it apart and inspect.

As far as an aftermarket drag link, I'd get a rock krawler drag link. it uses pitman arm ends (much stronger) that you buy from mopar or moog and the drag link is dead straight and made of solid steel. I've got one and it's really strong. easier to adjust as well.

Sounds like you ran outta threads on the tierod end and or the nut is stripped. You sure you got the right ends with the draglink? I'd take the nut off and see whats going on. Temp fix if its to the end of the threads would be a big grade 8 washer or two.

The nut is tight. It's the whole bolt that's turning with the nut. I'm pretty sure that the nut should cinch the bolt up tight.
