Talking 1" body lift installed (Lots of pics)

I installed a 1" body lift this weekend and wanted to share some pictures and insight. First, the kit was not purchased from a sponsor. It was came with poly graphite spacers, bolts and loctite and took me less that 2 hours to install by myself, with no special tools. The hardest part was trimming around the shifter.

Here is a before pic (Original tires, too):

Here it is now:

It rides great! Opening the back is now a 2 step operation but I am OK with that. It is still pretty easy.

First, you swing the tire out of the way and then you open the tailgate

Default Avoiding contact

The rubber bumpers that keep the spare from rattling on the factory mount are used by the LoD carrier to keep it from rattling. They also keep the tailgate from hitting the carrier arm when they are open.
