1350 front driveshaft, which is the best and why?
Im running j.e. reel 1350 shafts front and rear on 37's. I've read through the post about 1310 vs 1350 and one reputable vendor summed it up as why build you rig to have a week link at all so i chose 1350. For those of you that wheel with too much skinny pedal then maybe you want to go 1310.
When I was trying to decide between the two driveshaft sizes, a shop that installs Hemi engines in JKs told me that they put 1310 driveshafts in all of their conversions, so that is what I did. I'm just throwing out information. You can run what ever setup you want.

I also run Adams. They are cheaper than anybody else. I havent had a problem with them at all. Instlation had its up sides and down sides but not to hard at all. PM me if you need help with them. Adams is also a local company here in Vegas and they are quite big. They know what they are doing and I know Adam him self. Nice guy. Side note. When do you replace them ask if you still need the dust covers for the rear axle still in. And the old flange's for the transfer case have rubber seals on them right next to the nut. Make sure you pull them off and put them on the new flanges. I didnt do it to the rear and im leaking. Easy to fix thank god i saved all the stock parts just in case. And if you dont allready have one go to Autozone and rent the BIG 3 jaw puller. Not the small one. it doesnt fit. That is about the only way to get the flange's off easily. And of course all 3 nuts that hold them on are different sizes. Again need any help feel free to PM me.
Thanks again for the advice, I am generally very gentle with the skinny pedal. I am leaning toward the 1310 seeing as I can get it for cheaper. I am also in the process of new shocks and a roll cage so the savings will be worth it. I also spoke with a few guys in my local club who love to use the throttle and they all run 1310 with 35's 37's and one with 40's.
I'm running 35s with 6 inch lift. Drive shafts were made for the jeep with the lift. Yup. Same. 1310. I just got ripping out trees. Dumped the clutch in 4low on a rubicon. Drive shafts laughed at me. Bent the bull bar but they held quite well. Check out Adams drive shaft on FB. They have worked on many a cool things. Check out the boat/van they did a Dana 44 for. There is a cool YouTube video of it.
