Default 15" wheels

Hey guys.

I'm in the market for some 15" wheels. I'm just curious what some of you guys are running. I'm looking to purchase some in a week. I'm trying not to encounter any rubbing on the calipers. Thanks in advance

I know the mb72s work. I am not a huge fan of 15s on the jk but I do love the price of them!

Here's 2 threads for you to read through. Any rubbing usually occurs with steel wheel, alloys are good to go. I run the MB72s and have no complaints. There's plenty of info on the site about this, search around a little.

Ion Alloy 171 15x10, with 35" Cooper Discoverer. Great setup!!

I've had it for about 2 months now and love em! The guy at the tire shop doubled up the stick on wheel weights for some reason which rubbed the calipers so I just took some of the weights off and they are perfect. I've had em up to 80 mph no problem. Eventually, I thinking about getting internal balance beads and do away with the stick on weights just for peace of mind but the weights work fine for now.

Good luck on your purchase and be prepared to hear alot of salespeople tell you 15s won't fit a JK!

I have 15's and the problem with these wheels is that you're pretty much limited on the size and brand of tires you will be able to run. The largest tire for most brands is 35's, if you plan to move up on your tire size the only brands I've ran across is Toyo and Pitbull and Toyo will only go up to a 37 and they are pretty heavy tires, about 93lbs per tire. Just keep in mind what you want and what you're getting involved in. Luckily I also have a set of 17 in. rims so I'm able to swap as desired.

Ion Alloy 171's but in the 15x8 size and only running 33's.

To be different, here's a pic from the back of the wheel showing the clearance to the front caliper.
