Default 17's vs. 16's

Anyone ......Ok , here's the deal. After my poll a couple of weeks ago on which tire was the best when my Rubicon arrives Today. I was all set to go with the 35/12.5/17 BFG's KM2's. apparently discount tire and other tire stores cant get them right now. My ? is this is anyone out there decided to go with a 16 inch rim on the rubicon. In days past I always went with 15inch with an obvious loss in handleing due to the size sidewall. I can get my KM2's in a 16 but would like some feedback before I do. For those wondering the lift is a tera flex 2.5 BB with the front springs and shocks replaced.

Are you getting an after market bumper and wench? If not I would hold off on the springs. They are the springs from their 3" kits. You will have a reverse rake with the front being 3/4" higher than the rear. I know from experience.

I'm running 35" Pro Comp XMTRs on 16" Pro Comp wheels. I don't know that there is much difference in a 16v17 except for price of the tires and rubber. 16's are cheaper on both the tires and wheels and was the major reason I bought smaller.

Oh yea...and I have the same basic setup with the BB and front coils replaced. I love the look as it sits nearly level after the weight was added to the front. The front is ever so slightly lower than the rear.

thanks for that info. I am leaning toward the 16's unless someone out there has a good reason not to.
