Hi I was wondering what anyone might think about this for my first step. I want to get going with this and my patience has run out on kicking around ideas on how to launch. I have certain amount to spend TOMORROW and this is what I think I'm gonna do.

2009 2dr X

1) Put the Teraflex BB on - the one that doesnt come with shock extensions - it's 265 bucks on their website

2) same time put on 17" MT side biters

3) 35" MT Baja MTZ

4) in exactly 1 month im gonna put 2 front and 2 rear EVO spec King shocks

5) even though im going with the 265$ boost I'm still gonna upgrade shortly - next month i can dump another 3k and following month the same. But my patience is gone and tomorow Im buying wheels and tires.

I realize that part of the beauty of modification is that it's like a fine woman..........it is to be desired

i dont think you can run the BB with the stock shocks without extensions.

 

You putting the BB on now and then doing another lift a few months from now? I hear you on wanting to blow your load now....money load that is but I'd try and wait and put that money towards something like onboard air or whatever else may tickle your fancy. You may wish you had that extra 265 down the road from now....I know I would It's up to you though. Just my thoughts. Good luck on the build...you'll have to keep us posted.

 

If you dont plan on wheeling severely before you do get your "real" lift just get your wheels and tires and run like that. Dont "blow your wad" on something that to you will be throw away. I like the onboard air idea or or or or or....

well im waitin a very little bit on gettin the lift but ordered some front seats today and king shocks. i had to spend some money i was going out of mind. lift tires and wheels in 4 weeks exactly.

I don't get it, you want a BB and your putting $1400 shocks on.

 

i ordered the 0-3" shocks from EVO and was gonna run them with the BB for a while. I've been following King and read a bunch of articles. I like them and want to incorporate them into my deal. I'll stay 3" and under for a while Im cool with that.
