I'm looking at a set of skyjacker ones for the rear for jeeps w 2-3" lifts.
I was thinking about putting those on the rear and moving the factory rear ones to the front.
Any thoughts?
I kept mine as is, maybe down the road I'll switch them when i get extra cash, they seem fine for now

Maybe u should check out the 2.5" teraflex coil lift, I have it with shock ext. But I have a Rubicon. Northridge4x4.com. sells them with bilstein shocks for $775 or buy someone's Rubicon shocks and get the kit with extensions. Anyways I trimmed my fenders, pinch seams and rock sliders with a 1 1/4 rough country body lift running on 37" bfg km2's on stock moab wheels with 1.5" wheel spacers

After your RC 1.25" body lift how bad was the space between the body and the bumpers?
Have any pics?
Did the ride change any?

The space isn't really that bad cuz my jk is black so the wheel Wells are dark enough not to show the gap too much, I have no rear bumper at all so there really isn't a gap I guess. I will take some pics soon and post them up. The ride itself is only different cuz ur sitting up higher and that's it

I'm adding rc's 1.25" body lift to my to do list.

My rc 2.5" bb lift just got delivered by ups.
I decided I'm just going to install it myself instead of paying a shop to do it on Wednesday.
Figured I'd be better off spending the $ I was going to pay for the install on tools that I can use again for future projects. I needed a torque wrench anyway.
Harbor freight, here I come.
Looks like I'll be drinking coors all night in my shop...
I'll post some good before, during and after shots of the install.

Hey no problem, I like this body lift, I actually got it on eBay for $100 total shipped to my door. The hardest part about doing the BL is driving out the factory studs out of the factory mount, just need a 3/4" boxed end wrench and a hammer. And the rear most washers need to be ground down cuz they will squeak on the 2 nuts for the studs. And u should count all ur body mounts, mine only had 10 of them out of 12 so I could have ordered the kit for a 2dr and would have saved some $$$

Oh u can also save some $$$ if u have a harbor freight ad in a off-road magazine and probably get a 1/2" torque wrench for 10bucks. Lol

I saw where you said you wanted grab handles. These are the rugged ridge ones and I love them. They look great and are sturdy, I'm 6'1" and 215 and they hold me just fine. Just a suggestion.

Welcome I should say fellow Texan. I am also a 1st time wrangler owner. I can tell though, that since you have a clear mindset on what to modify first that you indeed have been lurking a while ha. I'm trying to do my own piece by piece, but I get entangled in so many things that I want to do, that I feel I am just going off impulse. I don't mind though b/c in the end it'll turn out the way I envisioned.

I was also planning on running 33's, I mean I really REALLY want 35's, but I figured a lift would be in order but I'm unsure on even how to begin and not void my warranty in the process. I'll definitely subscribe to this and try to learn and grasp as much as I can..
