X2 on shittybilt....I mean smittybilt. Their bumpers and sliders are junk. I haven't had them personally but I have seen a few and the welds are cracked, one guy had a smittybilt front bumper with stinger and had hit something and the stinger was bent all the way back, a couple of inches from the grill!!! The sliders just bend and smash in ur rocker panels

I don't mind though b/c in the end it'll turn out the way I envisioned.

I was also planning on running 33's, I mean I really REALLY want 35's, but I figured a lift would be in order but I'm unsure on even how to begin and not void my warranty in the process. I'll definitely subscribe to this and try to learn and grasp as much as I can..
There are a lot of fellow Jeepers in the Houston area that meet up and talk mods. Do a search and send Sapper12b a message.

Well I put the rc 2.5" BB lift on last night.
Started at 9pm and an 18 pack later me and a buddy had it knocked out.

Instructions were ok I guess.
Def lacking in detail for how to bolt on the rear coil spacer.
Also ended up using rachet straps to compress coils to get them back in.
Over all it was simple, just time consuming.

I'm very pleased w the results.
2.5" is just right (for now).

I really wish that I could post photos via my iPhone.
I took before after and during shots of the install.
I'll post them and the exhaust photos this evening as well as a short write up on small things I tweaked during the install and tips for anyone about to install their own.

Now I'm tire shopping.
Ordered spidertrax 1.5" spacers this morning.

Also ups f*cked up their delivery so the rc bumper end caps have been delayed a day.
Allegedly they will arrive this evening.
I've got my sawzall ready to get'er done tonight.

Still have paper tags on the back so it'll probably feel weird cutting stuff off already.
oh well, wth.

My iPhone only pulls up the full site...
I haven't seen an option to use the jk forum app.
I'd love to use the mobile version if it meant I could upload photos on the fly.
