Default 2" or 1.75" wheel spacers?

Any drawbacks in stepping up to 2" or 1.75" wheel spacers from 1.5"?
All hub centric of course.
advantage or just waste of money?

Drawback is a wider turning radius

I'll retract that previous statement. The turning radius will only increase by a very small margin due to the wider track of the vehicle. 2" just seems like a heck of a lot.

I thought 1.5" wheel spacers was the highest it went too...at least that's as far as I'd go. I'm currently running 1.5" Spidertrax and find that it's plenty enough while running 37" tires. No more rubbing

sorry to hijack but I don't really understand the whole backspacing... sorry! haha but 1.5 inch spydertrax will work on my stock 17" wheels and 35 inch nitto trail grapplers? correct?

There are more advantages to a wider track.

Increased side hill stability.
Better suspension travel. Basically making a longer lever by lengthening.

Only downside is being on a very narrow trail.

Yeah I'm still on the fence. I have 1.5" and just not sure yet about going 1.75" or 2". Prices range from $160 to as high as $300 for a set of 4.
