Default 2"-2.5" lift

Hi all.
I'm ready for a lift. Need input. Please. 2012 JKU sport. It's a DD. I'm planning on about 70% road 30% off-road trails. I'm in New England so deal with snow as well. I've been looking at the Rancho 2" kit w/9000 shocks, but not sure how I feel about the spring/spacer combo. Also looking at the TeraFlex and Rubicon Express. I've heard the TeraFlex kit sags a bit with time. Trying to stay under $700+/-
I want a coil kit with shocks.

Any help would be great. Thanks.

Rock Krawler 2.5 stock mod and Rancho 5000X shocks. Rides and handles better then stock on the road and flexes very well. 70/30 is an incredible amount of off-roading might want to go a harder core kit tho.

What is the end goal/usage? Just light trails, so more interested in onroad handling? How 'complete' do you want the kit to be at install?

Any interest in starting with a basic kit and adding on over time? Something like the RK stock mod, then build it toward flex/max travel? Or spend a bit more and get a MC dual rate?

And there is nothing wrong with spacer lifts. They get you some height without a bunch of added cost. The downside that they don't handle a bunch of added weight as well as new coils.

I would like a lift as complete as possible to run 33's with doing trail rides from time to time. Would like to get out at least once a month. Keeping in mind I'm in New England so with be dealing with mud, snow, sand. Not looking to go crazy. 2.5" lift max. Good handling and ride on road, but capable of keeping up off road. Again, kinda leaning towards the Rancho 2" lift with the 9000 shock due to the price point.

Thanks again all.

Damn 30% wheeling is a lot of time on the trails. 100 days a year would be sweet. I would look into a leveling kit with 35" tires to give you the best performance for the money. No reason to run any more then that for what trails you plan to run.

Ok. So 30% might be a gross over estimate. More like wishful thinking. Lol. More like maybe 5-10%. I just got 33's, so u will be on those for a bit.

To run 33's you will only need to do a leveling lift up front, or a set of flat or cut fenders.

I just installed the Teraflex 2.5" kit on mine with Bilstein 5100's and Goodyear MT/R's. It's the second Teraflex kit I've ran (two separate Jeeps), and I've been happy with both. The installation is simple, it rides nice, and looks great when paired with 35's. I haven't had the chance to get on any serious trails yet with this JK, but I've always been happy with Teraflex.

Dirtman... I've got a '15 JKU Hard Rock with the steel bumpers, steel rock rails, 18/60 springs... was looking at the Teraflex Performance Leveling kit to get the factory rake out of the stance and run Duratrac 285/70r17's... asked Teraflex about it and they did not recommend this kit for the Hard Rock, said it was more geared for the Sport... my goal would be to get a level stance with just enough lift to run 33's (I've got 3.73 gears and don't know if that would be enough for 35's)... don't like the idea of pucks/spacers, would rather do this with new shocks (5100's or ARB Nitrocharger Sports), springs, and other bits required to do a proper install... I keep hearing how a lot of kits are not complete, I'm new to the Wrangler thing as a first time owner and am seeking direction from forum members like yourself who have a wealth of knowledge on the subject... are there any leveling kits out there that would work with a somewhat loaded up JKU Hard Rock, or would I be better of going with individual parts... thanks in advance.
