2.5" with 35's will make it so you need to somewhat try to get in.

Do yourself a favor and go with the Rock Krawler lift. I just pulled out my Teraflex 2.5" coils, which were sagging badly. I replaced them with some RK 2.5" progressive coils and got a little over an inch of extra lift compared to the TF. Give the guys at Smashboogie a call. They'll get you a great price. If you need a hand with the install, give me a shout. I'd be happy to give you a hand.

I have 35" Duratracs on 4-9/16" backspace wheels with a 2.5" Rough Country lift. I don't have any rubbing on roads but I believe the lift is not enough for off-roading. I guess for serious off-roading I would either have to install flat fenders or a higher lift (at least 3.5" in my opinion). The extra weight of the aftermarket bumpers did not make a big difference. Even with stock bumpers the lift seemed to be too small.

I am in this exact same spot with my new 13. I will be paying close attention to this thread and making a few calls today too!

X2 this is exactly what I did. The rk coils are so much better than the tf. The ride is smoother on and off the road, they won't sag like the tf coils, u will actually get rid of the factory rake and it flexes like crazy

So the RK 2.5 springs gave u 1in more lift than the tf 2.5 springs? Did it wander a Alot more after the change or do u have adj ca's? I want about one more inch of lift, and was going to get some 3.5 springs, but if yell say i can do it with the Rk springs, i might go that route.

Just to be clear, the Rock Krawler 2.5" coils did not give me 3.5" of lift. My TF coils just sagged that much that I was only getting about and inch and a half of lift from them.

Pretty much, the tf springs in the front netted me over 3" on my 4dr but they sagged a lot in just a couple of months. Rk springs did the same but they didn't sag at all yet.
The pic I posted of my jeep on the other page, is with all 8 stock control arms.

I started out with just the TF 2.5" coils. When they started sagging, I added a 1" spacer in the front and 1/2" on the rears. It just continued to sag, to the point that even with the spacers, my extended bumpstops were only an inch or two from touching the landing blocks. This past Saturday, I switched to the 2.5" RK progressive coils and kept the spacers installed. The bumpstops are a good 3"+ from touching down now. It is noticibly taller getting in, and the ride feels better also.
