So yeah, i'd go ahead and get the lift u want now, the tires can wait if u dont have the cash for them now
I actually bought the jeep with no lift and am running the 295/70/17s that came on it so I may just get the lift i want and run what i got for a while.

Added the RK adjustable LCA's and drives like it should (the allignmet tech reccomended cam bolts ) Couldn't be happier with the lift. Sets almost perfectly level. The rear is 1/8 of an inch higer than the front.

Love the shape of the LCA's for clearance past the tires.

Those castor numbers are exactly what I was afraid of without the front lca's. Would you also recommend the rear uca's?

I did a little taller lift (3-1/2" Old Man Emu) with Teraflex adjustable lower control arms and JKS adjustable trackbars front and rear. Whole setup was less gthan $1800. Project JK has a great article on how to align your jeep with about $15 in tools.

I would love to go taller but just not wanting any front ds issues. I got a good price found on the max travel kit from david at northridge with bilsteins so I think im gonna pull the trigger on that kit. I was just concerned about the castor angles on the kits with no lca's. I have seen the article your talking about but without the lca's I don't think a computer alignment machine could help me. Thanks for the input though man. Always love different ideas for lifts.

I just installed the RC 2.5 and have noticed a moderate change in the steering. I am planning on adding the adjustable front track bar from RC very soon. The alignment guy also recommended cam bolts but I just don't like that idea. My question is. Will adjustable LCA's alone correct the caster or do I need to do upper and lower arms.
I used a relocation bracket for the track bar in the rear to recenter the axle. Should this be sufficient for the back or should I consider adjustable control arms for it as well?
Not trying to hijack the thread. I just have alot of the same questions. Lol

Front LCA's is all you need to correct the castor on a 2.5 lift. THe rear relocation bracket is sufficient for a 2.5 lift also. Rear control arms are used to correct pinion angle (more of an issue on a 2 door). Adjustable track bars and trackbar relocation brackets center your axle side to side. Hope this helps.

You'll look fine with the the 295's. I was going to put 35x12.5 KM2's on my JKU untill they released the 305/70/R17's. KM2's tend to run small. I bet your 295's are the same size as my 305's. I was surprised at how close the 305 KM2's and the 35 KM2's were in height. My 305's SHOULD measure 34in diameter. They measure closer to 33.5. The 35 KM2 was just shy of 34in in diameter. The difference would be hard to see with the naked eye. The visual difference is the width between the two. I like the narrower 305. They dont stick out as far from the fender and visually look taller than the 35x12.5 KM2. Kind of a weird size but looks perfect w the RK 2.5 lift IMO. As far as front LCA's, some JK's drive fine with out them and some don't with a 2.5 lift. I would reccomend them IF your steering is flighty/darty on the road. LCA's definately solves this issue.
