Default 2.5 suspension lift question for automatic gear

would this 2.5" lift kit suspension lift from Rough Country work for a 2.8CRD with automatic gear box?
or do lifts only work with manual gearboxes?
is there a difference in unlimited and 2door models?

The lift will work on an auto or a manual. It does not matter.

Most lifts are specific to a 2dr or 4dr, but the lift you posted above is a spacer lift and will not matter if it's 2 or 4dr.

you only need to worry about 2 vs 4 door when replacing the springs and maybe the shocks because the spring rate or valving may be different for the added weight of a 4dr.

you are thinking of a body lift when it comes to the difference in manual vs auto and/or 4dr vs 2dr.

with a body lift, it would matter if you had a 4 door or a 2 door since the number of mounts are different. and also, with a manual, you have to do some cutting to make the shifter work.

but with the lift you got there, it doesn't matter since its just a spring spacer. you'll be fine no matter what kind of JK you have.
