I'm not a fan of the big gap that body lifts have. I'm sure it would have a ton of problems on a 6 speed also.

Oh, well that's good to know. So my best bet would be a Suspension Lift?

Most people would say go with the 1 inch BL.

The gap created from the 1 inch is barely noticeable. I actually like the way the Jeep body sits SLIGHTLY higher than the bumper with the body lift installed, but I really have to look to see it.

Most poeple on the forums would say they could tell what brand gas is in your tank with a glance at your Jeep as it's driving by but in reality most people wouldn't even notice the BL is installed.

You won't be able to use 2nd, 4th, or 6th gear if you attempt a 2" body lift.

And, welcome to the Forum. Check out the frequently asked questions (FAQ) at the top of the Modified Section.
It has been done but requires more modification of the body around the shifter. I guess in reality anything could be done if you are willing to do the modifications needed.

I did the two inch Performance accessories 2'' lift and yes it requires some body work around the back of the shifter and trimming of the inner boot but for me it was a money decision i allready had the 2.5 Terraflex B.B. and wanted to run 37'' inch tires This until i can afford a real 4 to 5 inch lift. The look of the 2'' B.l. is all right to me and since i have done mine 2 more guys in my club Have done the same but on automatics.

Hope this helps

I just did a 1 inch BL and I moved my rear bumper up. Can't even notice the body lift.

Theres a write up on here somewhere, but I just took it off and moved it up an inch. One bolt hole on each side lines up, but you'll need to drill a hole or two to get it on there as sturdy as it was.
