Default 2" Budget boost Pic request and question

Did a quick search on this and couldn't find anything, but I wanted to see some pics of 2" BB kit and 33 on a 2 door.

Also was curious on if anyone w/ a 2 door auto running these kits have had any issues with their DS?

O believe me I have been all over that thread.. Just was looking for a more specific set up. Mostly everyone there runs with the TF 2.5 kit, and I figured people running with the 2" kit could answer my DS question..

most kits are a 2.5"... 2.5"in the front to level it and 2" in the rear.
they are labeled both 2.5 and 2" but usually are the same amount of lift.
picture wise they pretty much all look the same. check out any of my pictures, its what i'm running right now.

can't answer the DS question, but i don't THINK there is an issue with it. i think its above 2.5"

I run the 2.5 TF BB kit and have not had any issues with either driveshafts yet. It is really only around 3" net that some are tearing the front ds boot on the tranny skid or splitting the rear cv boot and loosing grease. I don't plan on runnin this kit forever, just something to get me off the ground while I save the pennies for new shafts and gears. Then the 35's will go on!

Yea That is the issue I'm running into right now... 35's.... or 33's.. Do I want the cost involved with 35's? will I be happy w/ 33's? Do i really need 35's?... It's a love hate relationship I have with my Jeep right now..

I have 33's, 1.5" (stacked .75" spacers) lift and chopped fender flares. It's a good daily driver, but I wished I would have bought 35" instead. I am waiting for some 2" spacers that I ordered. You shouldn't have any driveshaft issues with 2" of lift.

I'm running a 3.5BS wheel with 33s. they didn't rub until i upgraded shocks.
my raised shock mount broke, so i bought shocks for a 3" lift. my kit also didn't extend the bumpstops.

at full flex i rub pretty badly. i could never imagine what would happen with a taller tire.

I'll ost some pictures when i get home if u'd like

Sure there are time I wish I had 35's but then I remind myself that if I got them I would have spent $1k or there abouts in new gears, then probly another $900 or so for a new bumper with tire carrier. Add the axle sleeves and c gussets and you're already $2k+. They do look meaner and make the JK more capable, but I have fun on my 33's doing what I do for now and can still keep up with most of the guys. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure I'll get there, but I'm content with my setup right now. Take the extra $$ and invest in armor. I have the full belly skid system from River Raider hopefully going on this weekend!
