Default 2" DBS BL w/ manual trans question

Has anyone installed the 2" DBS body Lift on a JK with the manual transmission? How much of the shifter boot did you have to trim? I have searched but so far the only folks I have seen install the 2" kit did so on an automatic JK and no trimming was required. I know that with a 1" BL on a manual trans model trimming is needed so I assume it is the same with the 2" I just want to know how much.

thanks

on the 2" BDS, i cut the hard plastic on the inner boot about 3" wide. I also had to trim the metal (jeep) about half an inch back in the area where 2-4-6 and Reverse hit. I think the little bit of trimming is worth the extra 2" of height. I only installed a couple days ago and i am away from the jeep for a week. i will have pics next week for you.
