There was nowhere in the instructions that said where to put it, so when I was installing I went with the middle hole because the same long arm kit is the same for 3",4", or 6" with the exception of the springs. I then called Teraflex and they told me the middle hole was correct and the 4x4 shop that aligned everything said that it was right also.

OK, I have decided to buy a "Red Hots Glass Pack Muffler Part #: 50252FLT" and take it down to a local shop to have it welded in. The size is 18" with 2.5" in/oulets. The total overall length is 24" which seems to be cutting it kind of close between bends in the stock pipes.

The question is: How much will a shop charge to fab up the turndown pipe in the location of the removed stock muffler? None of the local shops would even make a guess over the phone.

Should happen in the next few days. I will post pics.

Shouldn't be too much. They didnt have to custom fab any bent pipes they just used some universal pieces they already had. Ask for a quote, but it wont be too expensive. Also I may be wrong so double check, but I think the muffler is 3 in 2.5 out..but I cant recall so yea double check.

This is the muffler that I'm considering... How does it sound? Can you upload a sound byte?

I often wonder why people want to relocate there evap canister to protect it, and then stick a muffler in it's place. Just curious.
I'm with you...my Flowmaster is tucked up so far you can't even see it unless you bend down to look behind the bumper. I've never understood the need to re-locate it....sure, my factory muffler took a beating but that's because it's about the size of a 55-gallon drum and hangs down so low. Once I replaced it with something smaller, mine hasn't even been scratched.

Just had the cherry bomb installed today. Relocated to the area beneath the driver seat. I really like the sound. Not nearly as loud as I thought it would be.

I'm not fond of the burble you get from downshifting or when the revs return to idle. I am hoping the intake I intend to install will give it a better note and throttle response.

Pictures coming tomorrow.
