1) Yes
2) No
3) Yes
4) Ehh, should ride fine...will be heavier, so will feel slower and increase breaking distance a bit.
5) Adversely, but probably not by too much.
6) Not my cup of tea, but my momma taught me not to judge others, so......

I would contact Travis from discount tire direct...they are a sponsor on the forum. My friend just ordered these with 285/60/20 GY Wrangler DuraTracs. Have not been installed yet...waiting to see if there is any rub. If there is, I would assume that it will be on the airdam....

It will fit without lift, you may need to run spacers. 20" is a little big for my (unless you are running 40" tires) but that is just me.

FYI those are 35s in the picture not 33s. For 35s you will need at least a 2.5" lift, re-gear the axles and get spacers because the backspacing on those rims is not adequate. It will lower you MPG and it will effect your handling. How it effects your handling will depend more on what lift you choose.

Thanks.

Do you think 33x12.50x20

1) would the tires fit with no modifcations
2) what do you think the ride would be like with 20" wheels and only 35 tires

These rims have a 6.34" backspace. If you go with the 12.50" width you'll have to add hub centric wheel spacers to move the rims out to accomodate the tires and not rub. Recommend spacers of 1.5"-2". Most 12.50" tires run a 4.5" backspace rim (give or take to the peanut gallery). Exactly how far you want the wheels to stick out is personal preference. I'm running a 4.75" backspace with 35 x 12.50 and it sticks out past the fender about 1/2".

Get the 35 x 12.50 R20 MTZ tire and slap on a Teraflex 2"/1" leveling kit. It'll allow the 35" and give you just enough lift to take that stock look out. 33" on a JK are pretty small and most guys regret not getting the 35". Again, its all opinion. Northridge sells the leveling kit for $119.- shipped and it takes that stupid factory rake (nose-dive) out of the front end. You won't be able to offroad much with the leveling kit and 35" but it gives a pretty mean looking street stance. The blue jeep on the front of the Quadratec catalogue looks to be running the 35's with a leveler if you want to see what it looks like.
