I am on the road traveling but a Jeep dealer from my home town just emailed me the pricing on a 08 Rubicon 2dr
MSRP $27220 Invoice $24826
Price hardtop (no soft top) plus ALL other options available (including MyGig and 4sp automatic)
MSRP $32520 Invoice $30023
Quoted Costco price (invoice plus $500) $30,523 plus tax & license.
I am going to call around while I am on the road tomorrow (going through a high desert area with nothing much more than sage brush and sand to look at, as it will give me something productive to do), and see if I cannot get it for invoice or closer thereto.
As a side point, the salesman also said that there had been a big delay at the factory with regards to the models with a manual transmission. I had not heard that before and as I want an auto it was irrelevant to me but may be of some interest to others, provided that it is not just some salesman BS

I heard that about the 6 speed, too on 07's. I also heard that it would not be as big a problem for the 08's and that everything (including MyGIG) was going to be readily available EXCEPT Freedom Tops. Evidently, those are still not fully up to production speed.
