Shot a message to Banks asking if they were going to produce a cat back system and they just left me a voicemail saying they already have one in production. Thats what I had on my TJ and I loved it. Was anyone else aware that they were producing one?

 

I wasn't aware of that but that makes me happy, I will probably go with their system. Any word on whether or not they have a programmer/chip on the way?

Just called them back, all they have is the cat back system. Delivered to your door for $489. Little steep but I guess thats what you pay for what you want. The engineer I talked to said it was a brand new system, not a stinger, or monster muffler. I cant wait to get that thing now!!!

 

Banks has had one out for a while now but only for the 4 door. Are you saying they have a 2 door version in production now or just the 4 door. When I spoke to them last month they took my information and were supposed to contact me when a 2 door was available. Really liked the kit on my TJ and look forward to the JK version.

 

I like their website, but it says Monster ?? for the 07. I wonder if there will be a difference in sound with the new muffler?

 

they said that they're still working the 2dr version. Should be out soon (no time frame). BTW, they also have headers for JK now.

How's their quality anyway?

 

Banks products are high end. I will probably go with their exhaust for my unlimited unless it has a "rice" sound to it. Any idea of how much HP headers will make on the 3.8? It might hurt the bottom end torque.

 

i'm not sure about power gain on header. Somebody on this forum installed similar product from gibson, and they said that there is some gain from it.

 

I put mine on about a month ago and i like it. They should be coming out with a ram cold air intake soon also. Not happy with my airaide that.

 

Now all the need to do is make a full front to back for the 2 door and I'm in!!! Just waiting for someone to come out with the full monty.
